This river is located in Tenorio Volcano National Park and it is one of the Costa Rica natural jewels. The legend tells that this is the place where God cleaned his paintbrush after painting the sky.
The waterfall, Los Teñideros (The dyers, where water turns Light Blue) are the main attractions. There are other hidden treasures like panoramic views, trails, as well as a rich diversity of flora and fauna.
A nature guide will be in charge of taking you along the trail to interpret this ecosystem and the importance for conservation of species, many of them endemic to Costa Rica (found nowhere else in the world) for example the Tree locally known as Jicaro Danto (Parmentiera valerii).
It takes about four hours to complete the walk along the trails and see all the attractions.
Come with us, enjoy and live this experience!
